Help: What does that error message mean?

Authorization Failed

This message may appear for two main reasons:

  1. If you connect to the rover driving page but don't send any commands to the rover for several minutes, the Mars Station will automatically log you out of the system, even if no one else is trying to drive. All you have to do is log in again.
  2. If you try to log in with a username and password and either one is incorrectly typed, you'll see this error. (Note that in order to log in with a username and password, you have to have been given this username and password by the Mars Station's site administrator.) All you have to do is try to log in again and be careful with your typing. If it still doesn't work, the username and password may not exist at the Station. Make sure you're connecting to the right Mars Station, then contact the Site Administrator to report the problem.

Oops! Can't Post That Message

If there are words in your message that the Mars Station doesn't like, it won't let you log in. Try writing a different message.

Sorry! Too Many Users

Mars Stations can't handle too many drivers and visitors at once. If there's too much traffic you will have to wait your turn to see the control panel and get your chance to drive. You can always check to see if there are other Mars Stations that have a shorter line.

Sorry, you can't use that screen name

If you entered a screen name that the Mars Station doesn't like, it won't let you log in. All you have to do is log in again with a different screen name.
